MUSEUM OF SEX

The Creators Project and The Museum of Sex curated an art exhibit featuring 28 female artists whose art spoke to personal explorations of sexuality, lust and gender. The exhibit, “NSFW: Female Gaze” showcased a diverse range of artists, media and perspectives, while questioning the material considered “not safe for work”.

I got tapped by Marina Garcia Vasquez, one of the co-curators of the exhibit, to explore and create a identity to be used for any press, media and/or advertising needs.  Dancing between the museum's established visual style and the laws prohibiting showing nudity in public, it became difficult  to follow through on some of our favorite directions, but the exploration portion was undoubtedly a highlight of my commercial experience.
